About
The World Sokol Federation is an international non-governmental organization founded on January 31st, 1994. The Federation was founded on the initiative of the founding Sokol organizations existing in the world and in former Czechoslovakia. It was established to cooperate and support all associated Sokol organizations, to spread Sokol ideas and to renew or establish Sokol organizations wherever it is interested. In practice, its task is to coordinate the activities of individual member organizations and to help each other in it. At present, the World Sokol Federation associates 13 Sokol organizations operating in 18 countries.
