On November 9, 2025, the World Sokol Federation Board held a productive virtual meeting (with in-person support in Belgrade, hosted by Serbian Sokol). Chaired by President Dr. Damian Małecki. During the meeting members discussed key topics including the legal status and bank account of WSF, new membership applications, resolutions of gratitude, Sokol Memorial Day, a new logo and website, documentation, history publications, by-laws, and plans for joint activities in 2026.
In addition, a resolution was passed to strengthen global communication: the official World Sokol Federation Facebook page and a dedicated Facebook group for members and friends have been created.
On the page and in the group, we will regularly publish posts about the most important events, sports competitions and slets, as well as Sokol organisations from different countries. Posts about Sokol in Serbia and Slovakia have already been published!
A huge thank you to our Sokol brothers and sisters from Serbia for so warmly organising and hosting the in-person session of the board meeting in Belgrade!
